Additional Information / Applies to all locations:

When a student requests a transfer from night to day, day to night, from part-time to full-time, or full-time to part-time, or any other change in schedule, there will be a $50 charge. Full-time is Tuesday - Friday (24 or more hours weekly). Part-time is Tuesday - Friday (23 or less hours weekly). 

These fees do not include uniforms that are required by the State Board of Cosmetology, nor the fee required by the State Board of Cosmetology for the License Exam. This is the total cost of the course. Each student will be required to sign an enrollment agreement/contract before beginning school. This is stating the exact tuition and refund policy. Students who are 18 and over may accept financial responsibility. Students who are under 18 are required to have their parent, guardian, or sponsoring institution sign permission. All fees due the school must be paid in full before the school will release any transcripts or final papers for licensing purposes. 

Prospective students are required to schedule an interview with the Admissions Director, furnish two letters of recommendation, and furnish a high school diploma, GED or school transcript.  

To find out if you qualify for financial aid, you will need to complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You can complete this application on the Internet at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov. If you do not have access to the Internet you can receive a copy of the FAFSA in the mail by calling 1-800-433-3243 and requesting one. The Federal School Code for Lacy Cosmetology School is 035133 for the Aiken Campus, E01263 for the Lexington Campus and E01293 for the Goose Creek Campus. We also accept student loans, visit www.scstudentloan.org to apply for the Stafford or PLUS loan.
